QUEST CHAMPIONSHIPS
At the last competition of the year for the Central Team we had another very successful medal haul!
THIRD IN UK!!
The British Taekwondo Championships were held last weekend (12th & 13th Sept) in Sportcity, Manchester. There were 662 competitors from 76 UK taekwondo clubs. Central Taekwondo Academy achieved it’s best ever placing - winning the 3rd place team trophy!!

JORDYN - WORLD BRONZE MEDALLIST
Jordyn Smith added a World Bronze to her European Gold at the World Cadet Championships in Korea. It has been a fantastic year for Jordyn and she has established herself as one of the best players in the world!

MAJOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
After a great performance at the European Championships, Lauren Mckinlay has been added to the GB Team for the World Cadet Championships in Korea - 23rd to 26th August 2015 at the Taekwondowon in Muju. Lauren will now join GB Team Captain and European Champion Jordyn Smith for the 2nd edition of the Cadet Worlds.

Central poomsae players had a great day at the Northern Ireland International Poomsae Championships in Belfast on Saturday (20th July).

CENTRAL PLAYERS SELECTED FOR CADET EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
More fantastic news for Team Central! No less than three of our cadet female stars have been selected to represent Great Britain at the Cadet European Championships, to be held in France at the beginning of July 2015. It is an incredible achievement for the club - to have three players from one club amongst the 15 strong team.

Fantastic results for Team Central at the NTC Championships in Nottingham on 2nd May.

SPANISH OPEN 2015
Jordyn Smith was once again outstanding winning Gold at the Spanish Open in Ponteveda on Saturday 11th April.
BLACK BELT GRADING RESULTS
Central Academy once again had a 100% pass rate at the UTA Dan Grading held in Belfast on Saturday 28th March 2015.
SOCIAL NIGHT
We are having a social night with disco and buffet at the Warriors Social Club, Stenhousemuir on Saturday 18th April. Senior team players and adults only.
THORNHILL COMMUNITY CENTRE
Our Wednesday night classes at Thornhill Community Centre will resume on Wednesday 1st April.
FALKIRK COUNCIL AWARDS
The Falkirk Council Sports Awards for sporting achievements in 2014 were held at the Falkirk Town Hall on Thursday 19th March.
PSS TEST MATCH DAY 2
Following on from the success of our first PSS Test Match Day last month, we can now announce the date for our next PSS Day.
Dutch Open Success
Team Central produced incredible results at the Dutch Open International Championships in Eindhoven at the weekend (13th - 15th March).
