Central Academy had a team of 46 players competing over the two days of the Scottish Championships - 3rd & 4th September. The event was hosted by Taekwondo Scotland and held at Meadowbank stadium in Edinburgh. Central achieved an overall total of 42 medals!!

On Day 1 was the poomsae (patterns) event with Central taking eight individual Gold Medals - Angie Bailey, Natasha Wilson, James Jack, Lynsey Burke, Alex Hogg, Lucy Kolle, Kara McLaren and Lewis Grey. Gold medallists in teams and pairs were Tegan O’May, Val Hogg, Eilidh Burke, Lyndsey Cartwright, Paula Smyth, Ethan Moore, Rowan Burke, Casey Paton and Sarah Jackson.

On Day 2 in the kyorugi (sparring) event Gold Medals went to Asia Bailey, Tegan O’May and Lauren McKinley.

Central finished overall 2nd Place Team.
