At Falkirk Town Hall on Wed 31st May 2017 the Falkirk Council Active Schools Sports Awards took place.

Once again Central Taekwondo athletes featured very highly amongst the award winners.

Erin Shaw was voted the Junior Sports Person of the Year and Jordyn Smith was runner up for the Senior Sports Person of the Year.

Considering there are 8 High Schools with 12,000 pupils this is a tremendous achievement for our superstar kyorugi players.

Jordyn has been the Senior Sports Person of the Year for the two previous years and Asia Bailey won it the two years prior to that.

Therefore, Central Academy has produced the region’s outstanding sports stars for the last five years!!
