Introducing our new outdoor training area!  Due to the fantastic support of our members and the local community we were able to transform the Community Centre back garden in just over a week. 

A massive thank you goes out to all those who came along to lend a hand with all the heavy labouring work - Raymond, Alan, Paula, Gavin & Fiona, Darren & Shona.  A special mention must go to a few people who went above and beyond.  Carronshore resident Davy Mac of DavyMac Plant provided all the advice to get us started and then spent two days clearing the ground and levelling it off!  Our 3rd Dan Black Belt Charles MacGregor put in hours of hard graft preparing the ground for the AstroTurf. Then Charles’ son Gregor spent hours expertly laying the AstroTurf. All done whilst running from job to job with his own work!  Neil Cartwright (Max’s dad) was there for hours every day passing on skills and advice and putting in a full shift every time. 

We now have a great training area to tide us over until the hall is available (which we hope won’t be much longer!). And the local community have a great space which can be used for lots of activities for years to come.
